Watch Party is a feature powered by Hyperbeam that allows you to browse the web together with other players in real-time. The session host can control a virtual browser while guests watch along. This is perfect for watching videos, browsing websites, or sharing content with friends in ovTwo.
All Watch Party actions are performed by right-clicking on the Watch Party screen. Right-click the screen to open the context menu where you can create, join, control, or leave a session.
To host a Watch Party session, you must be a VIP member. Regular players cannot host sessions but can join existing ones. To start hosting, right-click the Watch Party screen and select "Host Session". Your session will be created and you will automatically join as a viewer. Your session name will appear in the list for others to join. To take control of your session, right-click the screen again and select "Control".
Any player can join an existing Watch Party session. Right-click on the Watch Party screen to see a list of active sessions. Select a session to join it as a viewer. As a guest, you will be able to see everything the host is browsing but you will not be able to control the browser yourself.
As the session host, you have full control over the virtual browser. After creating or joining your own session, right-click the screen and select "Control" to take control. Once in control, you can navigate to any website, click links, type in search boxes, and interact with web content just like you would in a normal browser. Only the session owner can control the browser; guests are view-only.
To leave a Watch Party session, right-click the screen and select "Leave Session". If you are the host, your session will remain active for other viewers until it times out. You can rejoin your own session at any time by right-clicking the screen and selecting your session from the list, then right-clicking again and selecting "Control" to regain control.
